Ava Gregorian

Ava Gregorian played piano, violin, and clarinet in her early years. She obtained advanced degrees and diplomas in theatre and literature. She has travelled extensively (Israel, Europe, Eastern Europe) and studied many languages.

Ava was Co-Artistic Director of a Toronto theatre company (International Drama Ensemble), working on classical repertoire in reduced settings.  She did similar work in opera (Le nozze di Figaro, Les contes d’Hoffmann, Cosi fan tutte, Pikovaya dama). Her principal voice teachers in Toronto and Europe were Henriette Asch, Ingrid Kremling-Domanski, Janice Harper-Smith, Gabriella Ravazzi, and Edith Martelli. She has also coached with Victor McCorry, William Shookoff, and Csinszka Rédai.

Ava is now studying piano, voice, and composition in the Certificate Program at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, with Roger Buksa and Kathryn Whitney, along with the other exceptional instructors in Master classes.
