Fiona Sudbury
Fiona began studying piano at an early age, first with her sister Mary Fraser and later with the wonderful Mr. Ira Swartz in Vancouver. As a young adult she left music behind as her career in nursing developed.
She returned to the piano in 1993, answering the call to become an accompanist with a Victoria elementary school choir, a post she greatly enjoyed for 15 years.
In 2003, she resumed piano studies with Linda Stobbe and completed her RCM Elementary Piano Pedagogy in 2009 and RCM Teacher’s ARCT Piano in 2010.
Since then, Fiona has explored other collaborative music opportunities and is currently studying at the Victoria Conservatory of Music with Roger Buksa.
